With twenty eight years working in lean; Malcolm has a foundation that stems from first hand coaching by Toyota trainers in Japan and the UK. 

This is further enhanced by business management qualifications and membership of the Chartered Management Institute.

Extensive experience with global blue chip companies, primary service providers and government institutes.He is an expert in the application of ‘Lean’ and management techniques at all levels of a business from shop delivery to senior management coaching.

Expert Jishuken project, with a focus on production flow, line layout and extreme size and complexity trucks. Resulting in a line layout change and the number of build stations being reduced from 10 to 8. A separate activity resulting in a cost avoidance of $3.5 million of capital equipment investment

Senior management coach, and also external project lead for a team of client lean agents, tasked with introducing a complete lean deployment within a mid-sized manufacturing plant, resulting in improving trends with all SQDCM KPI’s 

Production improvements with a major high volume manufacturer achieving individual project results of; 30% increase in production (4.3 million euros). 26 people reduction and increased volume by 2.8 million pieces (3.1 million euros). Manning reduced by 22%, Volume increase by 12.5%, Removal of evening shift.
